This winter we spent 3 months between Bali & Thailand shooting destination weddings and we couldn’t be happier to end this memorable time with Janet & Nigel’s wedding at Baba Nest! They are two of the sweetest people you could meet and it’s so evident just how in love they are and what an amazing wedding they had by the non-stop smile on Janet’s face.
I also have to give a shout out their fabulous wedding party. The girls were always instantly in the perfect position or pose, without me saying a word, and the guys were VERY good sports through the door games activities!
Janet & Nigel plan a fabulous wedding, always with their guests enjoyment in mind. It was at a stunning resort called Baba Nest situated on the edge of cliff with the most beautiful sunsets. They had an incredible band, with the most talented & adorable lead singer…that I think they flew in from Australia (don’t quote me on that, but she is worth flying in from any corner of the globe). I didn’t know until editing the photos, that they also had a Donut Wall!!! I was shooting the ceremony details as Ken was covering the cocktail hour…a little jealous when I saw those photos, lol. But I have to admit I did love shooting the mountain of flowers IAMFLOWERS created for their breathtaking backdrop!!! They personality made luggage tags and acrylic name favours for their guests plus custom hangers for their wedding party and the cake topper (they now have a company doing this if you need any for your wedding..check out Woodie Design). And last but not least, at the end of the night they surprised their guests with a firework show!
It was a full day of activities, but it seemed to fly by, as everyone was so happy and lovely to be with. I wish these two all the best in the adventure together.
